MICHAEL L. DUNCAN is a shareholder at Volpe, Bajalia, Wickes, Rogerson & Wachs, where he represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes, including class actions, contract litigation, fraud litigation, bank and finance litigation, real estate litigation, intellectual property litigation, business litigation, non-compete litigation, trade secret matters and appeals. Mr. Duncan's practice has included representation of lenders and loan servicers in matters involving FDCPA, TILA, RESPA, ECOA and FCRA claims. His practice also includes asset recovery, workouts and litigation of claims associated with commercial loans. Mr. Duncan is a member of The Florida Bar (member, Business Law Section), American Bar Association (member, Torts Trial and Insurance Practice Section, Section of Litigation), Federal Bar Association, Jacksonville Bar Association and the American Inns of Court (Chester Bedell Chapter). He earned his B.S. degree from Drexel University and his J.D. degree from Rutgers University Law School. RICHARD E. RAMSEY joined Wicker, Smith, O'Hara, McCoy & Ford, P.A., in 1990, and is a partner in the firm's Jacksonville office, responsible for overseeing office operations. Mr. Ramsey has more than 23 years of experience focusing on a broad array of complex litigation involving medical malpractice, professional malpractice, legal malpractice, product liability, nursing home, insurance defense and construction, and is a frequent author and presenter in his areas of expertise. Admitted to practice in the state of Florida, Mr. Ramsey is a certified federal court arbitrator and is also a board certified civil trial law lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from New York University and his J.D. degree from Catholic University. Mr. Ramsey is a member of The Florida Bar (former member, Fourth Judicial Circuit Bar Grievance Committee), Jacksonville and American bar associations, Florida medical Malpractice Claims Council, Defense Research Institute and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. FRED TROMBERG is the managing partner of the Law Offices of Fred Tromberg. He is a board-certified civil trial lawyer with a trial practice focusing on victims' rights and remedies, wrongful death, products liability and complex civil actions, as well as lender liability. Mr. Tromberg has been a frequent lecturer at the University of North Florida, at the Florida Justice Association, and on behalf of The Florida Bar. He also has taught the paralegal program at FCCJ, and appeared on numerous television and radio interview shows on topics relating to legal issues, particularly victims' rights. In addition to his work-related experience, Mr. Tromberg has been appointed by the mayor of Jacksonville to the Victims Assistance Advisory Council, where he served as vice chair. He has been chair of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee, and he is the president of the River Garden Nursing Home Holding Company, one of the largest nursing homes in north Florida. Mr. Tromberg is also an adjunct professor of law at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. He teaches Florida practice and procedure, and advanced trial advocacy. Mr. Tromberg is immediate past chair of the Civil Trial Certification Committee of The Florida Bar.
