RICHARD D. CONNOR JR. is the president and owner of ESI Consulting, Inc. and Laptops Plus, Inc. Mr. Connor is trained in computer forensics by New Technologies, Inc. (NTI), a division of Armor Forensics. He received a Professional Development Certificate from Oregon State University in computer forensics. Mr. Connor is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), Digital Forensic Certified Practitioner (DFCP), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) and Summation Support Specialist (SSS). He is a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE). Mr. Connor is experienced in forensic imaging; locating and recovering ESI (Electronically Stored Information) that may appear to be inaccessible through computer forensic processes; CP cases, retrieving and analyzing pictures to determine sources, when and how acquired, whether viewed by user; creating and analyzing timelines of user activity; analyzing ESI for evidence of authenticity; modification or alteration; accessing password protected files (programs and drives); and analyzing data found in special (and typically inaccessible) areas of a disk. He has worked on many types of cases, civil and criminal, including child predator, financial fraud, tax fraud, insurance fraud, corporate espionage, corporate theft, domestic disputes and he has acted in the role of expert witness in state and federal court. CRAIG ROY is a director of information technology with Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. Mr. Roy is in charge of network administration, computer training, application programming and analysis, data security, litigation support, and records management for the firm. With more than 20 years of experience in his field, he provides systems design, implementation and administration, as well as policy drafting, management and audit. In addition to Mr. Roy's role overseeing traditional information technology, litigation support and records management at the firm, he has designed the concept for, and is an active participant in, the firm's eDiscovery practice. Over the past several years, he has been a frequent speaker on eDiscovery issues at numerous legal technology and information management conferences. Mr. Roy also is a member of the firm's technology, administrative, records retention, eDiscovery and health and safety committees. DREW SORRELL is a partner with Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. Mr. Sorrell's practice focuses on commercial (including complex eDiscovery issues), employment, and significant tort litigation, as well as related appellate litigation. He has argued in front of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, at the federal level, as well as the 5th District Court of Appeals at the state level. Mr. Sorrell is admitted to practice before all of the Florida state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the Southern District of New York, the state courts of New York, and the District of Columbia courts. He is a frequent speaker on the topics of eDiscovery, Technology and Work Place Privacy, and the law related to the Internet. Mr. Sorrell is the head of the firm's eDiscovery team. Currently, he is serving as president of the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Among others, Mr. Sorrell also is a member of the American Bar Association's eDiscovery and Digital Evidence Committee, The Florida Bar's employment law committee and is a Barrister Member of the George C. Young American Inns of Court. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Rollins College; his M.B.A. degree, with honors, from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business; and his J.D. degree, with honors, from George Washington University Law School.
