WENDELL D. FINNER is an attorney with First Coast Consumer Law. He practices in the areas of collection defense, unfair collection practices, defending foreclosure and bankruptcy. He is a previous author and lecturer in his areas of expertise. Mr. Finner received his B.A. degree from St. John's College and his J.D. degree from New York University. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the State Bars of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Mr. Finner also is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. BARRY W. KAUFMAN, Esq., is the principal and owner of a solo law practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Kaufman practices in the areas of family law and debt collection. Prior to opening his law practice in 2005, Mr. Kaufman worked as a collection attorney for Bray & Singletary, P.A. (now Bray & Lunsford, P.A.) and as an insurance defense attorney for the firm of O'Hara, Spradley & Waters, P.A. (now the O'Hara Law Firm, P.A.) He earned his B.A. degree from Loyola University, New Orleans, and his J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Mr. Kaufman is a member of The Florida Bar (Small Claims Rules Committee), the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Florida Creditors Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
