MICHAEL A. GOLD, LL.M., is an attorney at the law firm of Cohen, Foster & Romine, P.A., where he practices in the areas of criminal defense and commercial litigation. Mr. Gold has represented individuals and entities in state and federal criminal prosecutions in white collar fraud cases such as securities fraud, bank fraud, and worker's compensation fraud. He has lectured at various continuing legal education seminars on electronic discovery and computerized litigation support software. Mr. Gold earned his B.A. degree from the University of South Florida, his J.D. degree, cum laude, from St. Thomas University and his LL.M. degree, with distinction, from Georgetown University. Mr. Gold is a member of The Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Federal Bar for the Middle District of Florida. ODALYS Z. LARA, CPA, CVA, CFFA, CFF is a principal of Perzel & Lara Forensic CPA's, P.A. and co-chairs the firm's litigation support department. Her extensive experience in providing a broad spectrum of professional services including forensic accounting, auditing, tax, pension and estate planning, provides the technical foundation required to excel as a Certified Business Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). She has more than 20 years as a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Lara is an NACVA Instructor - Fraud Prevention & Detection Training and Forensic Academy of Investigative Methodology and gives continuing education seminars for the FICPA and local chapters. She is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Florida Institute of CPA's.
