STEPHEN B. BRAUERMAN is an attorney at the law firm of Bayard, P.A., where his practice focuses on areas of corporate and intellectual property litigation in Delaware's state and federal courts. Mr. Brauerman is a member of the American, Delaware State and Federal bar associations and the Richard S. Rodney American Inn of Court. LEONARD DEUTCHMAN is general counsel and managing partner for LDiscovery, LLC: Legal and Technology Consulting, formerly known as "LegisDiscovery," a digital forensics, electronic discovery and legal consulting firm with offices in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Chicago. He advises clients regarding both the legal and technical aspects of data preservation policies, electronic discovery obligations and how best to meet them, and digital forensic investigations. Mr. Deutchman writes the monthly column on digital forensics and electronic discovery, "GeekSpeak," in the Pennsylvania Law Weekly, and has provided numerous CLEs on electronic discovery and digital forensics through LDiscovery, as well as for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, National Business Institute and other organizations. Along with LDiscovery's Brian Wolfinger, he has created, and teaches, a digital forensics curriculum for Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. Mr. Deutchman came to LDiscovery after 20 years as a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, the last seven as chief of the Economic Crime Unit, which he expanded to become the Economic and Cyber Crime Unit; that expansion entailed construction of a computer forensics laboratory and the training of more than a dozen detectives and prosecutors. He has investigated and prosecuted virtually every kind of economic and computer crime as both an assistant district attorney and a specially appointed assistant U.S. attorney. Mr. Deutchman is one of the country's most sought-after teachers of investigators of computer crime and fraud, having helped to design, as well as having taught, several courses for the National and Pennsylvania District Attorney's Associations, IACIS and others. He has investigated and prosecuted numerous cases of trademark counterfeiting, particularly in the area of DVD and CD "piracy," and has lectured on the subject as well. Mr. Deutchman also has authored dozens of pieces of legislation, dealing with economic crime, computer crime, electronic surveillance and other areas. He is a graduate of Rutgers-Newark School of Law. Mr. Deutchman is a, summa cum laude, graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and pursued his doctorate at the University of California-Berkeley before attending law school. FRANCIS DIGIOVANNI is a partner with the law firm of Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP, where he practices in the areas of intellectual property litigation, intellectual property counseling and commercial litigation. Mr. DiGiovanni has substantial litigation experience in patent cases and other intellectual property cases, as well as environmental and commercial disputes, in both state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. DiGiovanni also is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He earned his B.S. degree from Bucknell University and his J.D. degree, cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. DANIEL J. HARBISON is a partner in the Intellectual Property Group of the law firm of Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP, where he represents clients in a variety of areas including patent litigation and unfair competition and trade secret related matters. He also has extensive experience managing cases involving large scale electronic discovery. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Harbison worked as a chemical engineer and manager for an industry leading environmental software company. While there, he gained extensive experience in modeling chemical processes and all aspects of software design and development.
