KEVIN C. CONNORS is a member of the law firm of Guarnaccia, Connors, Kalom & Zorn, LLC, where he practices in the areas of personal injury law, civil litigation, criminal law, administrative law, probate and wills, and is also the probate judge for the District of Hebron. Mr. Connors is a member of the Windham County and Connecticut bar associations, the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and American Association for Justice. GRIFFITH is the manager and partner in the law firm of Nassau, Griffith & Kelly, LLC in Newington, Connecticut. He practices in the areas of probate law, business law, and real estate law. Mr. Griffith earned his B.A. degree from Colgate University and his J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut. PATRICK L. POESCHL is a founding member of Nemchek & Poeschl, LLC, with offices in New London, Stamford, and Garden City. Mr. Poeschl practices in the fields of estate planning, administration and litigation, elder law and conservatorship law in both Connecticut and New York. He advises clients on all aspects of their estate and disability planning options, including drafting the necessary estate planning documents and advising them on options for business succession, Medicaid and post mortem planning. In addition, Mr. Poeschl represents clients in probate court litigation proceedings involving estates, trusts, and conservatorships. Prior to creating Nemchek & Poeschl, he worked in the New Haven office of the firm of Day Pitney where he provided estate and disability planning and trust and estate administration litigation services to the firm's high net worth clients. Before Day Pitney, Mr. Poeschl provided similar services to the clients of the Connecticut-based firms of Conway & Londregan and Cacace, Tusch and Santagata. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Mr. Poeschl is a member of American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and Fairfield County Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from St. Johns University and his J.D. degree from the City University School of Law at Queens College. HENRY C. WEATHERBY is the founding principal of the law firm of Weatherby & Associates, PC. He has a B.S. degree from the State University of New York, Albany and a J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Mr. Weatherby also holds the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations and is a CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist), a designation granted by the International Association of Employee Benefit Specialists and the Wharton School. He is the contributing editor of A Legal Guide for Connecticut Entrepreneurs, published by the CT Small Business Administration. Mr. Weatherby has also authored and co-authored articles on estate planning, pension administration issues, COBRA, Family Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Mr. Weatherby is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Wealth Counsel, the Hartford Business and Estate Planning Counsel, the Central Connecticut Estate Planning Counsel, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is a founder and past president of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Institute of Pension Administrators and a former president of the Hartford Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. Mr. Weatherby is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Idaho State Bar, and the Hartford County Bar Association. He is a member of the Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Taxation sections of the Connecticut Bar Association.
