KRISTI A. HANNEY joined Louden Legal Group LLC, in 2006, bringing experience in matrimonial law, probate and civil litigation. Ms. Hanney is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Fordham Law School, where she was on a law journal. Prior to joining the group, Ms. Hanney practiced for four years with a matrimonial firm in New London. She is a member of the Connecticut and New York State bar associations, and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court. Ms. Hanney serves as a special master in the family court. LINDA L. MARIANI is a partner in the New London law firm of Mariani & Reck, LLC, where her practice is concentrated in the areas of matrimonial law and personal injury. She also works as a part of the firm's collaborative divorce team. Ms. Mariani lectures frequently to various professionals on her areas of expertise. She hosted the weekly TV program, Law Talk for 12 years. Ms. Mariani is board-certified as a family law trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She is a member of the New London County (past president), Connecticut (member, Executive Committee, Family Law Section) and American bar associations; the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association; the American Association for Justice; the National District Attorney's Association; the Connecticut Council of Divorce and Family Mediators; and the Academy of Family Mediators (practitioner member). Ms. Mariani has recently been listed in the 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 editions of The Best Lawyers in America publication, as named by her peers in Connecticut. She earned her B.A. degree from Cornell University and her J.D. degree from Suffolk University. ELIZABETH LORION McMAHON is an attorney at the Law Offices of Elizabeth Lorion McMahon, where the largest portion of her practice is in drafting Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. Generally, clients are referred to her just prior to or after their divorces. Ms. McMahon's role is to prepare a QDRO that is true to the judgment; she does not advocate for either party. She started drafting QDROs in 1989 as an associate to Susman, Duffy and Segaloff, and lectures on this subject to lawyers and financial planners. Ms. McMahon earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from Georgetown University. She is a member of the Connecticut and New Haven County bar associations. JOSEPH T. O'CONNOR is a sole practitioner in Stamford, where he practices exclusively in matrimonial law. He served as special master in a number of judicial districts, including Stamford and Danberry, as well as for the regional family trial docket in Middletown. Mr. O'Connor has lectured on matrimonial law issues to various business and professional groups. He earned his B.A. degree from Siena College and his J.D. degree from the Quinnipiac University School of Law. Mr. O'Connor is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
