THOMAS M. ARMSTRONG is a shareholder in the Hartford law firm of Reid and Riege, P.C., where he practices in the areas of environmental law, OSHA and land use law. Mr. Armstrong is a frequent author and speaker on his areas of practice. He earned his B.A. degree from Westminster College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Mr. Armstrong is a member of the Environmental Policy Council of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association, as well as the Hartford, Connecticut and American bar associations. WILLIAM G. DeMORE is vice president, special assets at Rockville Bank in South Windsor, Connecticut. He has previously lectured on commercial loan workouts. Mr. DeMore earned his B.S., M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Connecticut. ALENA C. GFELLER is a partner with the Hartford law firm of Murtha Cullina LLP, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial law and litigation. Ms. Gfeller's practice includes contract litigation, banking law and foreclosures, corporate litigation and construction litigation. In addition, she has significant experience in the areas of foreclosures, workouts, landlord/tenant law, collections, and real estate, as well as prejudgment and post-judgment remedies in Connecticut. Ms. Gfeller has given many lectures regarding Connecticut foreclosures and has also given seminars for landlords/property managers on commercial and residential evictions, eviction processes, landlord rights and bankruptcy considerations. Ms. Gfeller earned her B.A. degree from Arizona State University and her J.D. degree from Widener University. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, and is admitted to the bar in the states of Connecticut, New York and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut. PATRICK J. ROSENBERGER with the law firm of Shimkus, Murphy and Rosenberger, P.C. , devotes his practice to foreclosure, eviction and other general litigation matters in all state and federal courts in Connecticut. He also handles real estate closings and title research. Mr. Rosenberger is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the Connecticut Federal Bar. He earned his J.D. degree from Western New England College School of Law. ANDREW STUMM is a 15 year veteran of the loan sales business. Mr. Stumm has held sales and management positions with several of the industry's leading firms, including Conseco Finance, Delta Funding and Countrywide Financial. Prior to joining Garnet, he managed loan procurement for Countrywide Financial in the northeast, based in Manhattan. Over his career, Mr. Stumm has managed the sale of more than $30 billion of whole loans for hundreds of clients. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Science in Management degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
