PETER J. BARTINIK JR. is a partner in The Bartinik Law Firm in Groton, Connecticut. His civil practice includes plaintiff's personal injury, medical malpractice, workers compensation, employment law, and general civil litigation. Mr. Bartinik is Board Certified in Civil Trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Bartinik has been listed as a Connecticut and New England Super Lawyer by the Super Lawyer Magazine each year from 2007 to the present. ALAN SHEFFY is the founding partner of Sheffy, Mazzaccaro, DePaolo & Dunham, L.L.P. His practice is devoted to trial law with a special emphasis on personal injury. Mr. Sheffy's practice is state-wide and he has successfully tried matters in both state and federal court. He handles jury cases that include wrongful death, brain injury, auto accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, workers' compensation, dog bites, claims against drunk drivers and cases against insurance companies for bad faith, fire loss, insurance policy claims and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims. Previously, Mr. Sheffy served as assistant town attorney for the town of Southington. He presents seminars to other attorneys on techniques in trying personal injury cases. SOLLISH is an associate with Robson Forensic, Inc. He provides technical investigations, analysis, reports, and testimony towards the resolution of commercial and personal injury litigation involving all aspects of planning, design, construction, operation and failure analysis of building and power plant mechanical systems. Mr. Sollish is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) Connecticut, a Certified Plant Engineer (CPE), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Qualified Boiler Inspector for the State of Connecticut and Certified Level II NDE. He received his A.A.S. degree, in Mechanical Engineering Technology, from SUNY Morrisville and his BSME degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester. Mr. Sollish is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). JAN C. TRENDOWSKI is a partner with the law firm of Trendowski & Allen, P.C., which he founded in 1996. His litigation practice concentrates on personal injury, liquor liability and insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Trendowski also represents clients before the Department of Consumer Protection, Liquor Control Division in both licensing matters and regulatory hearings. He lectures nationally on the topic of liquor liability and publishes the Connecticut Liquor Statutes and Regulations handbook. Mr. Trendowski became a senior staff trial attorney for the CNA Insurance Company only four years after beginning his career, concentrating on defending personal injury, liquor liability, products liability and professional liability cases. He tries jury cases in all courts in Connecticut and most recently became licensed in Rhode Island to establish the firm's Westerly office. Mr. Trendowski is a frequent author and speaker on a wide variety of topics, including liquor liability and advanced trial techniques. He is admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut and Rhode Island, and before the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit; and Federal District Court of Rhode Island.
