MARTIN B. BURKE is a sole practitioner in Rockville, Connecticut, where he concentrates his practice in elder law, Title XIX, special needs trusts, veterans' benefits, probate and real estate. He is a graduate of Albany Law School and has provided legal services in Vernon, Connecticut since 1968. Mr. Burke is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Academy of Special Needs Planners and the Connecticut Bar Association, including the CBA's Estates & Probate and Elder Law sections. Mr. Burke has lectured at numerous seminars on elder law and veterans' benefits. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and Maine. DORIS B. D'AMBROSIO is a sole practitioner in West Hartford, where she has 26 years of experience in estate planning and elder law. She is currently completing her LLM degree in estate planning and elder law from Western New England School of Law with a 97 Grade Point Average. She also practices in litigation (especially probate), family law, landlord tenant and real estate. She is a member of the Hartford County and Connecticut bar associations. Ms. D'Ambrosio earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Central Connecticut State University and her J.D. degree from Western New England College. REBECCA A. HAJOSY is a cum laude graduate of Texas State University, with a B.A. degree (with honors) in psychology. In 1998, she earned her J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law. She is admitted to practice in the States of Connecticut and Utah. Ms. Hajosy is on the Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. She is on the Board of Directors of the Spina Bifida Association of Connecticut and is an adjunct professor at the University of Hartford teaching probate practice and elder law. Ms. Hajosy is an accredited Veteran Affairs Claims Attorney (VACA). She is also a founding associate at the Law Offices of Sharon L. Pope, LLC. Ms. Hajosy practices in the areas of probate, elder and special needs trust law. ALDO PANTANO is a training program specialist with the State Office of Policy and Management's Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care program. Mr. Pantano coordinates all aspects of the Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care Producer Training Program including scheduling, logistics and agent relations. In addition to conducting the trainings, he coordinates all presentations for the Connecticut partnership, including conducting the presentations, and working with consumers and agents to answer their questions about long-term care, long-term care insurance and the Connecticut partnership. Prior to joining the Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care in 2007, Mr. Pantano spent 17 years marketing group long-term care coverage in the private insurance industry sector.
