JOSHUA F. GILMAN is a partner at Gilman & Francis, LLC, where he practices in the areas of estate planning, collections, business law, probate and real estate. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. Mr. Gilman received his B.S. degree from Cornell University, his J.D. degree from Western New England College School of Law, and his LL.M. degree in estate planning and elder law from Western New England College School of Law. PAUL N. GILMORE is a principal of Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C., and a member of the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group. Mr. Gilmore has an extensive background in commercial and financial litigation and in the process of loan workouts. The principal focus of his practice is the protection and enforcement of creditors' rights, including complex commercial collection and foreclosure actions, workouts and bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Gilmore practices throughout the state of Connecticut and handles trials and appeals in all courts. He earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Florida State University and his J.D. degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is admitted to practice before the courts of the state of Connecticut; the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut; the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Western, Southern and Eastern districts of New York; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. Mr. Gilmore is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and its Commercial Law and Bankruptcy, Federal Practice and Corporate Counsel sections. LLOYD S. LOWINGER is a sole practitioner in Avon where he practices in the areas of commercial litigation and bankruptcy law. He has spoken to various professional groups on his areas of practice. Mr. Lowinger is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and The Florida Bar. He received his B.A. degree, with honors, from Trinity College and his J.D. degree from Boston University.
