RONALD I. CHORCHES is the principal of the Law Offices of Ronald I. Chorches, LLC, in Wethersfield. He is appointed to the Panel of Chapter 7 Standing Trustees, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Connecticut. Mr. Chorches has limited his practice to bankruptcy law, bankruptcy litigation, workouts, commercial litigation and creditors' rights since 1991. He has lectured before legal and business groups on bankruptcy law and foreclosure law. Mr. Chorches is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the Chapter 13 Trustee Bankruptcy Association. He is a member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy sections of the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Commercial Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Chorches earned his B.A. degree at Skidmore College and his J.D. degree from Western New England College, School of Law. JOEL M. GRAFSTEIN is the principal in Grafstein Law Office, with locations in Farmington and Manchester. Since 1974 he has concentrated his practice in the areas of bankruptcy law with an emphasis on Chapter 7, Chapter 13, reorganization, debt relief and debtor-creditor relations. Mr. Grafstein served as a Chapter 7 Trustee Panel Member for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Connecticut from 1978-1982. He is a frequent lecturer and author of bankruptcy and related topics, including collection law, secured claims, mortgage foreclosures, workouts, distressed real estate, and bankruptcy and problem loans. Mr. Grafstein is a member of the Board of Directors of the Commercial and Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is also a member of the New York State Bar and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers. Mr. Grafstein earned his B.S. degree from the University of Bridgeport, his J.D. degree from New York Law School and his LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law. CHARLES A. MAGLIERI is a sole practitioner who operates his law practice from two full time office locations in both Bloomfield and Brooklyn, Connecticut. Mr. Maglieri limits his practice to consumer cases in both Chapter 7 and 13 and to Family Farmer and Fisherman cases in Chapter 12. He earned his B.A. degree from Central Connecticut State College and his J.D. degree from Western New England College School of Law. Mr. Maglieri is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association (Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section), the Hartford County Bar Association (Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section), the American Bankruptcy Institute, National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees and the National Association Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He is also a volunteer mediator for the Bankruptcy Court Mediation Program in Hartford and is the moderator for the Consumer Bankruptcy Round Table Discussions. He has held prior teaching positions at Western New England College School of Law and Tunxis Community College, lecturing on the code of professional responsibility, criminal law, constitutional law, evidence and court procedure. Mr. Maglieri is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, Trial and Appellate Courts; U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut; U.S. Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
