WILLIAM H. T. FREY is a partner of Dufford, Waldeck, Milburn & Krohn, L.L.P., of Grand Junction, Colorado. Mr. Frey earned his undergraduate degree from Nyack College in New York and his J.D. degree from Rutgers-Camden University Law School. He has practiced with the firm since 1979. Mr. Frey's practice emphasizes tax issues in real estate, probate and estate planning. He is a past chair of the Taxation Section of the Colorado Bar Association, has written numerous articles for the Colorado Lawyer, and has spoken at state CLE programs. Mr. Frey has previously instructed a paralegal course in decedents’ estates at Mesa College, and has spoken at Colorado Bar Association seminars on malpractice prevention. DREW MOORE is a sole practitioner in Colorado who began in elder law by advising the Ombudsman program housed at Colorado Rural Legal Services and rendering advice regarding Medicaid eligibility guidelines and estate recovery of Medicaid liens, a topic which continues into probate. Mr. Moore earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and his juris doctorate from Hamline University Law School, graduating cum laude. He worked at Colorado Rural Legal Services (now Colorado Legal Services) for approximately five years before moving into private practice. Mr. Moore has been a nonprofit board member for more than 14 years for the Mesa County Adult Protection Program, Inc. (not affiliated with Mesa County), which serves as guardian for incapacitated adults in Mesa County. He practiced probate law throughout, including litigating several will contests. Mr. Moore has served as guardian ad litem in several probate matters and continues to practice elder law. CHARLES F. REAMS is the principal with Reams & Eggert, L.L.C., in Grand Junction, Colorado. His main areas of practice are civil litigation, personal injury and probate, including decedents’ estates, guardianship and protective proceedings. Mr. Reams is public administrator of the 21st Judicial District of Colorado. He earned his A.A degree, with high distinction, from Mesa State College; his B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Colorado at Boulder; and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law. Mr. Reams is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Mesa County and Colorado Bar Associations, and the CTLA. JOSEPH H. SKINNER is a sole practitioner in Grand Junction, Colorado, who specializes in trusts, estates, fiduciary relationships, planning and mediation. Mr. Skinner is a member of three non-profit boards, part-time estates and trust attorney, a writer and a certified mediator and adjunct professor at Mesa State College. He earned his B.A, with distinction, and his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Law at Boulder. Mr. Skinner is a member of the Mesa County, Colorado, and American bar associations. His past memberships include the 21st Judicial District Judicial Selection Committee, the Colorado Economic Development Commission, and the Colorado Legal Grievance Committee.
