MIKO A. BROWN is a partner with the law office of Wheeler Trigg & O'Donnell LLP, where she practices in the areas of products liability and commercial litigation. She has previously lectured for a continuing legal education seminar on Daubert motions and expert depositions. Ms. Brown earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of California at Berkley and her J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She is a member of the Women's Bar Association of Colorado and the Asian Pacific American, Colorado and American bar associations. CHRISTINE ANNE CRAIGMILE is an attorney with the law firm Fennemore Craig, P.C., where she practices primarily in the areas of medical and hospital malpractice defense. She has defended hospitals, physicians and other licensed health care professionals and long term care facilities against professional negligence claims. Over the years, Ms. Craigmile has represented most of the primary insurers and self-insured health care entities in the State of Colorado in defending claims against health care providers. She has been instrumental in establishing case law favorable to the defense of these cases in both the state and federal courts. In addition to handling malpractice cases, Ms. Craigmile has a successful record in mediating and arbitrating cases for her clients and in representing physicians and other health care professionals before their respective licensing agencies. She frequently advises her physician and hospital clients on risk management and quality assurance matters and has expertise in drafting bylaws, policies and rules and regulations for hospitals and other health facilities. Ms. Craigmile is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Women's Bar Association, The American Health Lawyers Association, The Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. In addition, Ms. Craigmile is on the teaching faculty for the Foundations of Doctoring Course at the University of Colorado Medical School and has been recognized by Colorado Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America ®. J. LEE GRAY is an associate at the law firm of Holland & Hart LLP. His practice focuses on products liability, commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, and election law and campaign finance. Mr. Gray earned his B.A. degree from Auburn University and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University. He is a member of the American (Litigation Section), Colorado, Denver and Arapahoe County bar associations, as well as the Faculty of Federal Advocates Home (Resource Development Committee). PATRICK T. O'ROURKE is the managing associate counsel for the University of Colorado's Department of Litigation. Mr. O'Rourke is a frequent lecturer on his areas of practice. He received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Creighton University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. O'Rourke is a member of the Denver and Colorado bar associations. MURFY E. POWELL is a paralegal with the Denver based law firm of Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell LLP. As an integral member of the national trial team for Ford Motor Company, Ms. Powell is entrusted with significant case management responsibilities. With her extensive experience in electronic trial preparation, mass production of discovery documents and on-line document review, Ms. Powell is helping Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell LLP move toward becoming a paperless law firm. Ms. Powell earned her B.A. degree from West Virginia State University.
