J. KYLE BACHUS is a founding partner of Bachus & Schanker, LLC. Mr. Bachus is licensed to practice law in both the federal and state courts in the state of Colorado and the state of Florida. He actively litigates cases involving catastrophic injuries, serious personal and financial damage, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, and medical malpractice. Mr. Bachus limits his practice to the representation of victims and their families. Ms. Ewing also is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Her areas of responsibility are personal injury law, commercial litigation, divorce litigation, employment law, products liability law and medical malpractice. Ms. Ewing earned her B.A. degree from the University of Colorado and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver. She is a member of the Denver, Routt County, Douglas County, Colorado and American bar associations; the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (Board of Directors); and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. KENNETH B. PENNYWELL is an attorney in the law firm of Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C., where he practices in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation and attorney ethics. He formerly served as an assistant district attorney for the 1st Judicial District in Shreveport, Louisiana, and served on the Colorado Supreme Court Standing Committee on Rules of Professional Conduct from 2006-2009. Mr. Pennywell worked for seven years with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation as a trial attorney, handling ethical violations on the part of Colorado licensed attorneys. He currently represents clients in Louisiana who sustained damages as a result of the British Petroleum gulf oil spill. Mr. Pennywell also participated in the mass tort action in Mississippi against Walmart for labor violations regarding hourly employees. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Pennywell is a member of the Colorado and Louisiana State bar associations, and a former member of the National District Attorney Counsel. BRADLEY A. SCRIVEN is a partner in the Denver law firm of Sisun & Scriven, P.C., where he focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury and complex tort litigation. Mr. Scriven earned his B.A. degree from Mason State College and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association. WENDELYN K. WALBERG is the managing shareholder of Walberg, Tucker & Holmes, P.C., in Englewood. Ms. Walberg practices primarily in the area of civil litigation and insurance coverage. Her practice currently emphasizes complex legal matters, including appeals, declaratory actions, coverage litigation and bad faith insurance litigation. Ms. Walberg also is frequently retained to provide evaluations, legal opinions and education regarding insurance coverage and defense obligations under all varieties of insurance policies. She is a member of the Colorado and Denver bar associations, as well as the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association. Ms. Walberg has served as counsel for the Rocky Mountain Association of Special Investigation Units since 2002, and is recognized as a specialist in assisting insurance carriers with claims investigation, examinations under oath and coverage evaluations. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Denver College of Law. Ms. Walberg writes and publishes, through Walberg, Tucker & Holmes, P.C., comprehensive reviews of Colorado uninsured motorist and bad faith law on a regular basis. She also is the author of "New Uninsured Motorist Legislation Changes the Rules," published in The Colorado Lawyer, Sept. 2008.
