DANIEL P. KAPSAK is the principal of The Kapsak Law Firm, LLC, where his practice is devoted to estate and elder law planning. Mr. Kapsak currently serves on the Longmont United Hospital Ethics Committee (past chair), is a board member of the Colorado Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, and has participated in both the End of Life Coalition for Hospice of Boulder/Broomfield Counties (member, Steering Committee) and the End of Life Task force through the Boulder County Hospital Ethics Committee. He is a member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the Colorado Healthcare Ethics Forum; and the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics. Mr. Kapsak also is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County bar associations, and the Boulder County Estate Planning Council. He earned a B.A. degree from St. Joseph's College, his J.D. degree from Creighton University, and his S.T.B. and M.Div. degrees from Loyola University. ROSEANN L. MURRAY is a sole practitioner with The Murray Law Firm, LLC. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Ms. Murray practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, elder law and Social Security disability. She is a member of the Colorado and Broomfield bar associations, a board member of Compassion and Choices, and is a previous board member of Table Mountain Animal Center and the Women's Estate Planning Council. Ms. Murray earned her B.S. degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado, and her J.D. and LL.M. degrees from The University of Denver College of Law. C. CRISPIN SARGENT is the president/owner of CS AdvoCare, Inc., where she is a senior benefits specialist, insurance consultant, pre-retirement counselor, professional conservator, POA, trustee and personal representative. Ms. Sargent was a previous employee benefits specialist at Financial Designs, Ltd., a manager of administrative services at Hart Publications and a social studies teacher in Louisiana. She has previously spoken for seminars on her main areas of practice. Ms. Sargent graduated from Kent School. R. ERIC SOLEM is the senior partner in the Englewood law firm of Solem, Mack & Steinhoff, P.C., and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law. His practice emphasizes elder law, Medicaid, Medicare, probate and special needs trusts matters. Mr. Solem has handled public benefits appeals before the federal district courts, the courts of appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a frequent lecturer on "Medicaid", "Medicare Set Aside Agreements" and "Special Needs Trusts", and is a past president and board member of The Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities, Inc. Mr. Solem is a member of the Elder Law Committee and the Trust and Probate Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He also is a member of The Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Solem earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
