Ms. Ewing earned her B.A. degree from the University of Colorado and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver. JAMES D. JOHNSON practices law with the Denver firm of Ayd & Johnson, P.C. He has practiced law in Colorado since 1978 and is licensed to appear in all trial and appellate courts in the state of Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the U.S. Throughout his 31 years of practice, Mr. Johnson's work has been concentrated in various aspects of the insurance defense field. In recent years, his practice has tended to concentrate on insurance coverage issues, defense of bad faith claims, and defense of insurance class-action litigation. Mr. Johnson is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education programs for attorneys, as well as continuing education programs for claim professionals and others in the insurance industry. He is a member of the American, Colorado and Denver bar associations, and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
