CATHLEEN H. HEINTZ is an attorney with Hall & Evans, LLC, where her areas of practice are civil and commercial litigation, with a special emphasis in insurance coverage, construction defect, professional liability, products liability, life, accident and health, and ERISA. Over the course of her 25-year career, Ms. Heintz has been employed within the insurance industry in the disciplines of contracts, compliance, claims and underwriting. Ms. Heintz has successfully litigated a wide variety of insurance defense cases representing many major U.S. corporations. She was recently listed as one of Denver's Top Lawyers in the specialty of insurance in the November 2010 edition of Denver Magazine. Ms. Heintz has recently been elected to the Editorial Board of the CGL REPORTER published by the Insurance Coverage and Litigation Committee (ICLC), Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. Ms. Heintz also serves as vice-chair of the Steering Committee of the Southwest Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, and is a committee member of the ALFA International Professional Liability Practice Group. She is a member of the American, Colorado, Arapahoe County, Douglas County and Elbert County bar associations; Colorado Defense Lawyers Association; Denver Claims Association; and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society - Southwest Chapter. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law/Widener University School of Law. She is admitted to practice before the U. S. District Court, District of Colorado; U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit; and the United States District Court, District of New Mexico. KENNETH B. PENNYWELL is an attorney in the law firm of Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C., where he practices in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation and attorney ethics. He formerly served as an assistant district attorney for the 1st Judicial District in Shreveport, Louisiana and served on the Colorado Supreme Court Standing Committee on rules of professional conduct from 2006-2009. Mr. Pennywell worked for seven years with the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation as a trial attorney, handling ethical violations on the part of Colorado licensed attorneys. He currently represents clients in Louisiana who sustained damages as a result of the British Petroleum gulf oil spill. Mr. Pennywell also participated in the mass tort action in Mississippi against Walmart for labor violations regarding hourly employees. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Pennywell is a member of the Colorado and Louisiana State bar associations, and a former member of the National District Attorney Counsel. MICHAEL J. ROSENBERG is a shareholder in the Denver law firm of Roberts, Levin & Rosenberg, P.C., where he specializes in the areas of insurance recovery, bad faith, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He dedicates the bulk of his practice to representing policyholders, both corporate and individual, in disputes with their insurers. Through his previous experience counseling insurance companies and defending them in litigation, both locally and abroad, Mr. Rosenberg has developed an understanding and knowledge of the insurance industry in general, and of the inner workings of numerous insurance companies in particular. He earned his B.A. degree from Washington and Lee University, and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver, College of Law. Mr. Rosenberg is a member of the Denver, Colorado and American bar associations, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
