DONALD D. ALLEN is of counsel with the law firm of Markus Williams Young & Zimmermann LLC. Mr. Allen has more than 25 years of experience with bankruptcy court litigation in bankruptcy courts in Colorado, California, Delaware, New York and Nevada. He is a business bankruptcy specialist certified by the American Board of Certification. Mr. Allen has presented numerous continuing professional education seminars dealing with bankruptcy, foreclosure, real estate and title issues. He also served as an instructor of business law at the University of Phoenix for five years. APPEL is a shareholder in the Denver law firm of Appel & Lucas P.C. He focuses his practice on complex commercial reorganizations, bankruptcy litigation and bankruptcy acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Appel has extensive trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts in complex business litigation matters. He has acquired expertise in many industries, including real estate, electric utility, uranium, computers and electronics, meat packing, airlines, oil and gas, hardware, and the retail, wholesale, manufacturing and service industries. Mr. Appel earned his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. He is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, teaching bankruptcy law, and an adjunct professor of law at the University of Colorado Law School, teaching creditor's rights and debtor's remedies. Mr. Appel has served as an expert witness in state, federal and foreign courts on a variety of issues, including Colorado commercial law, bankruptcy law, the reasonableness of attorney's fees and attorney standards of care. TARA E. GASCHLER is the founder and managing attorney of The Gaschler Law Firm LLC in Denver, Colorado. Her practice focuses exclusively on Chapter 7 & 13 bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation and bankruptcy appeals. Ms. Gaschler attended Colorado State University, graduating with a degree in History in 1997. In 1998, she attended London School of Economics while working for the United Kingdom's House of Commons Select Committee on Environmental Policy. ARTHUR LINDQUIST-KLEISSLER is an attorney with the Denver firm of Lindquist-Kleissler & Company, L.L.C. Specializing in bankruptcy and commercial litigation and has had more than 30 years experience in this field. Mr. Lindquist-Kleissler has wide-ranging experience in representing debtors, creditors, creditor committees, depositor committees and bankruptcy trustees in Chapter 7's, 11's and 13's. He also has represented secured and unsecured lenders in non-judicial workouts, financial restructurings, consensual foreclosures and receivership proceedings in state and federal courts.
