LESLIE O. DAWSON is a partner with Glenn & Dawson, LLP, in Walnut Creek. Ms. Dawson is a certified public accountant (CPA), a certified valuation analyst (CVA) and is accredited in business valuations (ABV) by the American Institute of Public Accountants. She earned her B.A. degree in accounting, cum laude, from Sonoma State University and her M.S. degree from Golden Gate University. Ms. Dawson has more than 25 years of experience in public and private accounting. She had been appointed as the court's expert in the California Superior Court and is a member of the California CPA Society pro-bono program. Ms. Dawson is involved with the California Society of CPAs, currently serving as chair of the East Bay Litigation Committee; past chair of the statewide Family Law Section; and past chair of the statewide Family Law Conference (2000). DONALD H. LATZER is a partner in the law firm of Latzer & Fleming in Fair Oaks, California. Mr. Latzer focuses his practice on all aspects of family law including guardianships and adoptions. He is a certified legal specialist in family law by the State Bar of California. Mr. Latzer is licensed to practice in California, as well as Iowa. He has previous experience lecturing to legal professionals on issues relating to family law. Mr. Latzer earned his B.A. degree from California State University, Northridge and his J.D. degree from the University of LaVerne. ELIZABETH N. NIEMI is an attorney in Sacramento, California, where her areas of practice include family and appellate law. In addition, she is a former Court Appointed Special Advocate. Ms. Niemi earned her B.A. degree from Rice University and her J.D. degree from Notre Dame Law School. DWIGHT E. STEVENS JR. is a family law attorney with his office in Roseville, California. Mr. Stevens earned his J.D. degree from Western State University and is admitted to practice law in California. Mr. Stevens was a partner with the Los Angeles law firm of Beckler and Stevens until 1986, when he moved to Northern California and opened his office in Roseville. He is also a retired police officer from the city of Anaheim, California. While his practice now focuses on family law and domestic violence actions, Mr. Stevens has extensive prior experience in criminal defense. He is a member of the Placer County Bar Association and the California State Bar. Mr. Stevens has also served as a Judge Pro Tem in Placer and San Bernardino counties and as a fee arbitrator for the Placer County Bar.
