NAOMI S. COMFORT is a partner in the law firm of Hawks & Comfort, LLP of Los Altos, California, a firm dedicated to the practice of elder law, estate planning and post-mortem administration. Ms. Comfort's areas of emphasis include estate planning, estate and trust administration, reformation of defective and dysfunctional trusts, planning and administering special needs trusts, and implementation of tax-effective decisions. She is a lecturer for Continuing Education of the Bar of California (CEB), National Business Institute (NBI), Bay Area Legal Secretaries Forum (BALSF) and the Peninsula Silicon Valley Chapter of the California Society of CPAs. Ms. Comfort received her B.A. degree from UCLA, and her J.D. degree and LL.M. degree, in taxation, from Golden Gate University. FRANCIS B. DOYLE is a founder of WealthPLAN, a law practice dedicated to family wealth preservation and integrated wealth planning. He is a certified legal specialist by the State Bar of California in both taxation law and probate, estate planning and trust law. Mr. Doyle is a professor of law at Lincoln University School of Law, where he teaches wills and trusts. He was named Professor of the Year for the 2004-2005 academic year. Mr. Doyle is a frequent lecturer for various continuing legal educational organizations, including National Business Institute (NBI). He is the past-president of the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council and a member of the Executive Board of the Silicon Valley Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Santa Clara University; his J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco; Law School, and his M.S. degree, in taxation, from Golden Gate University. JEFFREY S. TACHIKI is the managing partner of the Berkeley law firm of Tachiki Arnold LLP. Mr. Tachiki's practice includes estate planning, trust administration, probate, conservatorships and guardianships. He has previously lectured for National Business Institute on probate and revocable living trust matters. Mr. Tachiki is vice president of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Alameda County Bar Association, and a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California, the East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers, and the Bay Area Chapter of the Asian American Bar Association. He was named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009 and 2010. Mr. Tachiki earned his B.A. degree from the University of Utah and his J.D. degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
