MICHAEL ANTIN is a retired sole practitioner in Los Angeles, California, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of taxation law, estate planning law and probate law. He has been designated as a certified tax specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Antin was designated as Super Lawyer in Tax for the 2004-2007 calendar years by the Los Angeles Magazine. He served as a visiting professor for the Advanced Estate Planning course at the University of San Diego School of Law in the summer of 2008. GABBARD is a partner in the tax department of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, where her practice focuses on privately held businesses and high net worth clients. Her areas of practice include all aspects of income, capital gains, gift and estate tax planning, advanced wealth and business succession planning, capital gains tax deferral techniques, acquisition, sale and liquidity planning, private corporate structuring, asset freeze techniques, family office planning, charitable giving, derivates analysis, insurance planning, trust tax planning and trust administration. Ms. Gabbard has been certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and was named 2004, 2005 and 2006 Southern California Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine . She has been an adjunct professor at Chapman University School of Law since 1998 and teaches two full term law courses, namely, "Federal Gift and Estate Tax" and "Taxation of Business Organizations." (Orange location) ROY SCHNEIDER is an attorney with the law firm of Myers, Widders, Gibson, Jones and Schneider, LLP, with offices throughout southern and central California where he focuses his legal practice in the areas of business planning, business entity, mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses, employment law, contracts transactional matters of all kinds, real estate transactions and estate planning. Mr. Schneider represents dozens of non-profits and has extensive experience advising in the formation and operation of tax-exempt organizations. He believes in giving back to the community and serves on several charitable boards and foundations. Mr. Schneider is a frequent lecturer before private and civic groups and is a regular instructor in the SCORE and WEV Workshop Series on starting a business offered several times a year in Ventura County. While maintaining his law practice, Mr. Schneider founded the California College of Paralegal Studies and served as its Dean until the College was sold to a public corporation. Mr. Schneider is a Professor of Business Law and Business Ethics at Ventura Community College, served for 15 years as a professor of Corporations Law at Ventura College of Law and taught a course titled "Ethics, Executive Integrity and Social Responsibility" at Antioch University in Santa Barbara, California.
