THELMA S. COHEN is a member of the Pasadena law firm of Potter, Cohen & Samulon, where she practices in the areas of Social Security disability and workers' compensation law. Ms. Cohen earned her A.B. degree from the University of California and her J.D. degree from Hastings College of Law, University of California at San Francisco. She has spoken previously on Social Security issues for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives and is a certified specialist in workers' compensation. Ms. Cohen is a member of the California Applicant Attorney Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (past president, Social Security Section). MEGAN F. DiTOLLA is a founding partner of West Coast Disability Law Group, LLP, in Van Nuys. Ms. DiTolla has performed close to 1000 Social Security disability and Supplemental Security Income hearings across the western United States. She is admitted to practice law in all district courts of California, as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Additionally, she is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). Ms. DiTolla earned her B.A. degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her J.D. degree from California Western School of Law. REBECCA C. PADILLA is an attorney with the law firm of Potter, Cohen & Samulon, where she represents clients in matters of Social Security disability at the administrative and appellate levels. Ms. Padilla is a member of the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles County bar associations and is currently on the executive committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Social Security Section. She has lectured on various Social Security disability issues at both regional and national conferences. Prior to joining Potter, Cohen & Samulon, she worked at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in its Employment Rights Project where she represented clients in overtime and wage claims, in addition to representing clients in Social Security disability claims. She earned her J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law and her bachelor's degree in sociology-law and society from the University of California at Davis. CARI M. SCHWARTZ is a founding partner of West Coast Disability Law Group, LLP, in Van Nuys. Ms. Schwartz has represented close to 1000 claimants at administrative law judge hearings across the western United States, handling a broad array of cases with varying levels of complexity. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. In addition to her membership in the State Bar of California, Ms. Schwartz is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). She earned her B.A. degree from the University of San Diego and her J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
