JANATHAN ALLEN brings an extensive international tax, accounting, finance and legal background to Allen Barron, Inc. Located in Escondido and downtown San Diego, California, Allen Barron, Inc. provides not only estate tax return preparation and estate planning services, but also provides financial and management advisory services to individuals and businesses throughout Southern California, the USA and worldwide. Ms. Allen has worked with a diverse group of businesses, advising clients in legal, financial and tax arenas. She began her career in the public accounting arena and then moved into the private sector as tax director for a biotech firm, Hybritech, Inc. She progressed to Controller and CFO/Legal Counsel positions for a number of San Diego companies before becoming a partner at Allen Barron, Inc. Ms. Allen has led seminars throughout California on tax-advantaged corporate structures and tax minimization, and appeared as a panelist for Tech Coast Venture Network in a roundtable discussion for venture capital and angel financing DANIEL K. PRINTZ is a sole practitioner in Del Mar, California. Mr. Printz has been an attorney for more than 11 years and focuses his practice on estate planning, probate and business law. He is an adjunct professor in the University of San Diego paralegal program where he has taught a course on estates, wills and trusts for the past four years. He has also lectured to attorneys and paralegals at continuing legal education seminars on estate planning and administration. Mr. Printz is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County and North County bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of California San Diego and his J.D. degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. STUART SCHECHTER is a sole practitioner in San Diego. Mr. Schechter has been an attorney for more than 29 years and focuses his practice on estate planning, probate and business law. He previously wrote columns for the Trial Bar News. Mr. Schechter is a member of the State Bar of California. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from San Diego State University and his J.D. degree from the University of San Diego.
CHARLES T. SCOTT JR. is a partner in the law firm of Kimball, Tirey & St. John where he practices in the areas of trust law, probate law and elder law. Mr. Scott has been practicing law for more than 30 years and is certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He has appeared as a lecturer for National Business Institute on elder law matters and for various professional groups on other areas related to his practice. Mr. Scott is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of California and his J.D. degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley.
