MARK A. BRIMMER is a sole practitioner in San Marcos, California and was a principal in Boyd and Brimmer, A.P.C., from 2000 to 2008. Mr. Brimmer has practiced law for more than 18 years in San Diego County and focuses his practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration. He has previously lectured for National Business Institute on estate planning and probate issues. Mr. Brimmer is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association. He earned both his B.S. and J.D. degrees from Arizona State University. CHARLES T. SCOTT JR. is a partner in the law firm of Kimball, Tirey & St. John where he practices in the areas of trust law, probate law and elder law. Mr. Scott has been practicing law for more than 30 years and is certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He has appeared as a lecturer for National Business Institute on elder law matters and for various professional groups on other areas related to his practice. Mr. Scott is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of California and his J.D. degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley.PHILIP J. SULLIVAN is a partner in the estates and trusts group of Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Charney LLP. Mr. Sullivan's practice involves the representation of clients in estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate, estate and gift tax audits and charitable planning. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association (Estate Planning and Probate Section), the La Jolla Probate Section, and the State Bar of California. He is a frequent lecturer on estate and trust topics, and is an adjunct professor and lecturer at the California Western School of Law and the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Sullivan earned his bachelor's degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University , his law degree, cum laude, from Villanova University Law School, and his master's in taxation from New York University School of Law. Prior to joining Henderson, Caverly, Pum & Charney in 2008, Mr. Sullivan was a partner in the family wealth and exempt organizations practice group at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP. He is admitted to practice law in California and Pennsylvania.
