June 13 - Irvine KRISTIN L. YOKOMOTO is the founder of Balanced Legal Planning, APLC, located in Newport Beach. Balanced Legal Planning, APLC focuses on estate planning and business planning, which includes all aspects of business law and corporate law. Ms. Yokomoto has been licensed to practice law for more than 15 years and opened Balanced Legal Planning, APLC in 2008. She has presented at National Business Institute and the Orange County Bar Association, Estate and Trusts Section on estate planning topics, including the 2010 estate tax repeal and related modified carry-over basis rules. Ms. Yokomoto has been published by The BNA Tax Management Memorandum, a leading national provider of tax planning information, and The CPA Journal, a publication of the New York State Society of Accountants. Mr. Chae has served as a member of the board of directors for a community college foundation, as chairperson for a planned giving committee and as a professional advisor to a community foundation.
