WILLIAM G. SHORT is a sole practitioner in Ojai, California, at the Law Offices of William G. Short. Mr. Short has been an attorney for more than 20 years and practices in the areas of insurance coverage, commercial collection and wage/hour class action law. He is a member of the State Bar of California. Mr. Short earned his B.A. degree from Thomas Aquinas College and his J.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School. WILLIAM E. WINFIELD is a partner with the Oxnard law firm of Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP. Mr. Winfield has been an attorney for more than 25 years and practices in the areas of general business law, civil litigation, real property, landlord/tenant, securities, oil and gas, bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights. He is board certified in business bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification. Mr. Winfield has served as a visiting deputy district attorney for the County of Ventura. In addition, he is an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers and the Ventura County Superior Court, where he also has served as a visiting judge. Mr. Winfield is a member of the State Bar of California, the Ventura County Bar Association (chairman, Bankruptcy Section, 1994-1998), the California Bankruptcy Forum, the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, the Commercial Law League of America and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah.
