DIANE FORSHEE, CSA, CLTC, is an independent insurance advisor. With more than ten years of experience, she offers such product lines as health, life, disability, Medicare plans, and long-term care insurance designed for the individual, family, group and self-employed. Ms. Forshee is a certified continuing education instructor; assists financial planners, attorneys, CPAs, insurance producers and other financial services professionals with training and educational seminars; conducts lunch and learn workshops; and teams up with these professionals to help their clients through the maze of insurance. MARSHA GOODMAN is a sole practitioner with a life care planning law firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Ms. Goodman's practice includes traditional elder law services, such as guardianships and conservatorships, powers of attorney and other advance directives, and assisting clients in filing claims and resolving disputes regarding public benefits. In addition, her staff includes human services professionals who work with Ms. Goodman and their clients' families to bundle asset protection, public benefits qualification, insurance assistance, nursing home advocacy and crisis intervention into a single package called a Life Care Plan. Ms. Goodman is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, where she serves on the Board of Directors. She serves her community as a member of the Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance; as Director of Development for the Arizona chapter of the Anti-Defamation League; and as a board member and past chair of Arizona Women's Education and Employment, a workforce development organization. Ms. Goodman is admitted to practice in Arizona and Michigan (inactive), and is an accredited attorney before the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has completed training in mediation and conflict resolution by the Office of the Arizona Attorney General - Conflict Resolution Program and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University. She received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and her J.D. degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law. LETICIA GUZMAN is the owner of Long Term Care Advocates, LLC, a case management and resource coordination company. As a case manager, she specializes in chronic conditions requiring long term care. Ms. Guzman has more than 25 years in the health care field, 12 of which were spent at Mayo Clinic where a passion was developed for those with chronic conditions. Ms. Guzman has a vast knowledge of the resources available to clients within the community, and she has the ability to implement those resources that are most appropriate in meeting the client's needs. Her abilities include experience working within the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System and the Arizona Long Term Care System. Her achievement in servicing of the elderly and individuals with physical or developmental disabilities is met with ease, and Life Care Planning is a natural follow up. Ms. Guzman provides in-home evaluations of the client and their environment, which results in better assistance in educating clients and their families while helping to guide them in making informed decisions. Her recent work is exclusive as an independent contractor with the law firm of Frazer, Ryan, Goldberg & Arnold LLP, 1st International Bank and Trust, and as a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Association, Desert Southwest. Ms. Guzman holds a bachelor's degree in human services/social work. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), the National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) and the Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance (MEAPA). Ms. Guzman is a Human Services Board-Certified Practitioner (HS-BCP). KEITH R. LYMAN joined the law firm of Frazer, Ryan, Goldberg & Arnold LLP, as an associate in 2008. As an estate planning attorney, Mr. Lyman focuses his practice on estate planning and long-term care planning, including Medicaid eligibility and asset protection, along with the use of special needs trusts. He is also a Certified Financial Planner, having earned his designation in 1996. Mr. Lyman practiced law in Indiana for 27 years with a practice focused on estate planning and long-term care planning. Mr. Lyman graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 1977, and is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Indiana and Arizona. He is also a member in good standing of the Arizona State Bar Association and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
