LISA PERRY BANEN is an attorney with the law firm of Lane & Nach, P.C., where her practice emphasizes bankruptcy trustee representation and creditors' rights. She has worked in private practice in Phoenix, concentrating in the areas of real estate foreclosures, creditors' rights in bankruptcy and commercial litigation. From 1997 to 2004, Ms. Banen worked as assistant attorney general in the Tax, Bankruptcy and Collection Enforcement Section, where she represented state agencies including the Arizona Department of Revenue, Department of Transportation and Department of Environmental Quality in bankruptcy-related matters. She earned her J.D. degree from Cornell Law School and is a graduate of Moorhead State University, Minnesota. G. LEE CROSBY JR. is the managing partner with the Phoenix law firm of Crosby & Gladner, P.C., where he practices in the areas of real estate, foreclosure, title insurance, subrogation and collection law. Mr. Crosby has more than 35 years of experience in real estate, of which more than 20 years has been practicing as an attorney. For those 20 plus years, Mr. Crosby has worked with his partner dealing with subrogation law, while continuing his work with real estate law, foreclosure law and title insurance. He earned his B.S. degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. Crosby is a former member of the Arizona Bar Foundation, the Trustee's Association, and the Lawyer Pilot's Bar Association. DON J. MINER is a director with Fennemore Craig, P.C., where his practice focuses primarily on the areas of real estate and business transactions and development, including finance, leasing and brokerage matters, along with related workouts, creditors' rights and bankruptcy. His practice encompasses development and leasing on Native American lands and on Arizona State Land Department tracts, as well as affordable housing development, leasing and management. Mr. Miner's practice also covers the negotiation and documentation of purchase and sale transactions, development agreements, commercial loans, drafting and enforcement of commercial space and ground leases, preparation of covenants, conditions and restrictions affecting real property, formation, operation and management of business entities and recordkeeping for business entities. He is president of the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business, a private, post-secondary, real estate and business education school in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Miner also is a fellow of the Arizona Bar Foundation. He has practiced law in Phoenix, Arizona, for more than 28 years. Mr. Miner earned his B.A. degree and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University.
