He has lectured for attorneys, property managers and other real estate professionals on matters related to fair housing and landlord-tenant law. Mr. Deere was previously an adjunct professor at Mesa Community College. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Utah State Bar. Mr. Deere earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee.

J. MARK HELDENBRAND is the president of J. Mark Heldenbrand , PC, a Phoenix-based civil litigation firm. Since 1991, Mr. Heldenbrand's individual practice has focused on residential landlord-tenant law and collection law. He has presented seminars at State Bar of Arizona sponsored seminars, the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business, the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Arizona Multihousing Association. He is a charter member of the Association of Landlord-Tenant Attorneys. Mr. Heldenbrand graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his B.B.A. degree in accounting. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
