DARYL A. AUDILETT is an attorney with Kimble, Nelson, Audilett & Kastner PC. Mr. Audilett has been defending law enforcement officers in civil lawsuits for 25 years. FINDLING is an attorney at Robbins & Curtin, P.L.L.C., where she practices exclusively in plaintiff's personal injury, primarily representing clients in claims against governmental entities and governmental employees. Ms. Findling's cases include jail suicide, inmate assaults, and medical negligence in jails and prison. She is a member of the National Police Accountability Project, Arizona Association of Justice, and the American Association of Justice. Ms. Findling has been a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 1987, having graduated from Arizona State University and the Arizona State University College of Law. She worked several years on the defense side at the beginning of her career. LEADER is the sole proprietor of the Leader Law Firm. Mr. Leader clerked for United States District Court Judge Alfredo C. Marquez, after which he worked for the United States Attorney's Office, Criminal Division, for nine years. While there, he received the Department of Justice Sustained Superior Achievement Award and commendations from United States Customs and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. In 1999, Mr. Leader left the public sector to work for Dale Haralson, Esq. of Haralson, Miller, Pitt, Feldman & McAnally. He opened his own practice in 2003. Through his public and private practice, Mr. Leader has tried numerous cases in both federal and state courts and has briefed and argued numerous appeals with the Ninth Circuit and Arizona Courts of Appeal. Mr. Martinez then moved on to become the Employment Litigation Director for MALDEF (Mexican American Legal Defense Education Fund). NORRIS is a sole practitioner with the Law Office of Dale Norris, LLC, where he practices public sector labor and employment law and represents several public safety associations and their members. Mr. Norris was a police officer for 22 years and retired from the Phoenix Police Department in 1997. While a Phoenix police officer, he held assignments as a patrol officer, undercover officer, detective, air support unit observer (fixed-wing and rotor-craft), research analyst, and an original member of the department's Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team. Additionally, Mr. Norris sat as a "peer" member of the department's Disciplinary Review Board and Use of Force Board. From 1989 to 1996, he was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association (PLEA) and served as the editor for their monthly publication. Mr. Norris also served as the grievance chairman and chief negotiator and negotiated PLEA's labor agreement with the city of Phoenix. He then attended Arizona State University College of Law and gained admittance to the State Bar of Arizona in 2000. Mr. Norris' experiences as a law enforcement officer and labor leader have provided him significant insight when dealing with the employment and job related issues unique to peace officers and other public sector employees.
