BARBARA APPENZELLER is a CPA practicing in full service certified public accounting, tax and business consulting. She provides operational and accounting expertise to her clients including personnel and payroll issues, accounting and payroll system selections and preparation of individual and corporate tax returns. Ms. Appenzeller earned her B.A. degree from Arizona State University. She also has 15 years of experience as a corporate paralegal and legal administrator. Ms. Appenzeller is a member of the Arizona Society of CPAs, the AICPA and was a founding member of Arizona Bankruptcy Coalition. DAVID N. HOROWITZ is an attorney at the Phoenix law firm of Collins, May, Potenza, Baran & Gillespie, P.C., where he practices in the areas of family law, divorce and annulment, mediation, legal separation, prenuptial agreements, child custody and visitation, child support collection and modification, spousal maintenance and modification, domestic partnerships, grandparent rights, guardianship proceedings, enforcement proceedings, out-of-state relocation issues, alternative dispute resolution and collaborative divorce. Mr. Horowitz is a member of the Arizona Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Arizona. He is the past president of the Arizona Family Support Council and has served on the Arizona Supreme Court's Child Support Committee Guidelines Workgroup. Mr. Horowitz has been teaching economics and legal studies at Phoenix College since 1990. He is the recipient of the 2005-2006 State Bar of Arizona CLE Award. Mr. Horowitz is licensed to practice in all Arizona courts, all federal courts situated in the District of Arizona and the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree, with honors and highest distinction, and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona College of Law. ANNE L. LEARY is shareholder in the law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., and head of the firm's employee benefits practice. She practices exclusively in the area of employee benefits and executive compensation. Ms. Leary is a member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the American Bar Association's Section on Taxation and the IRS Pacific Coast Area TE/GE Council. She is a past president and member of the Board of Directors of the Phoenix Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference. Ms. Leary earned her law degree from Boston College Law School and her LL.M. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is a frequent speaker on employee benefit and executive compensation issues. ANGELA Y. PEACOCK is an attorney in the Phoenix law firm of Bishop & Martin Law Office, P.C., where she practices in the areas of family law, divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance and grandparents' rights. Ms. Peacock earned her B.S. degree from the University of Hawaii and her J.D. degree from Creighton University School of Law. During law school, she earned the 2002 Advanced Legal Research American Jurisprudence Award, and was named a brief finalist in the International Moot Court Competition. Ms. Peacock has taught various family law seminars for continuing legal education programs, including "Road Map Through Divorce Proceedings" in December 2006 and "Child Custody and Visitation" in November 2008. She also has served as a Best Interests attorney through the Volunteer Lawyers Assistance Program. Ms. Peacock is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Family Law Section and the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section. JOYCE L. PEARSON is a sole practitioner in Scottsdale for Equitable Divorce Solutions LLC, where she assists individuals and attorneys in the equitable division of assets during the divorce process. Ms. Pearson is a certified financial planner and certified divorce financial analyst. She serves clients with budgeting during divorce and post divorce, division of assets and liabilities, settlements, equitable division and transfer of assets post divorce. Ms. Pearson earned her B.A. degree from Lake Erie College in Paynesville, Ohio, and was designated by the Board of Standards as a certified financial planner and accredited as a certified divorce planner by the Institute for Certified Divorce Planners. She has lectured to various professional groups and written articles on issues pertaining to predivorce financial planning. Ms. Pearson is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Arizona Chapter of Divorce Planners and she is the director of public relations for the Society of Financial Service Professional (SFSP). SUSAN PINTEL is the principal of the Pintel Law Firm PLLC in Scottsdale. She practices in the areas of family law, real estate law and business law. Ms. Pintel is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Arizona. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, at Claremont McKenna College and her J.D. degree at the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law.
