MARK ARNETT is a partner with the law firm of Arnett & Arnett PC, with locations in Chandler and Phoenix, where his practice is primarily limited to insurance and bad faith litigation. WILLIAM M. DEMLONG is an attorney at the law firm of Kunz Plitt Hyland Demlong & Kleifield. He specializes in the litigation, both trial and appellate, of insurance matters, including ERISA matters and complex commercial, construction defect and personal injury litigation. Mr. Demlong's practice involves the analysis and litigation of complex insurance claims and coverage, in both the first-party and third-party context. He has litigated substantial commercial, construction defect and personal injury matters in both federal and state courts. His insurance litigation practice has included all types of policies, with particular emphasis on life, health, disability (including group policies and ERISA claims), general liability, construction defect, personal and commercial automobile, and personal and surplus lines. Mr. Demlong devotes a substantial amount of his practice to the defense of insurance bad faith and punitive damage claims against insurers. He is very active within the U.S. District Court of the District of Arizona. Mr. Demlong was an arbitrator for the district court, a member of that court's Technology Committee and is past chair of the Arizona Lawyer Representative for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Demlong is the co-author of the chapter on "Insurance Bad Faith" for the soon to be published Arizona Tort Law Handbook. He is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association and the American Bar Association (member, TIPS Section; past member, Federal Procedure Committee). Mr. Demlong has been listed in Southwest Superlawyers (2009-2010) and Superlawyers Corporate Counsel Edition. He earned his B.S. degree from Arizona State University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law. He is also a certified public accountant. EVAN S. GOLDSTEIN is a member of Herman Goldstein in Phoenix, Arizona. His practice areas specifically focus on insurance bad faith, insurance coverage analysis, policy interpretation and claims analysis. Mr. Goldstein is the co-author of "Ten Ways to Lose Your Appeal at Oral Argument," 26 Arizona B. Briefs 6 (May 1988). He also was the law clerk to Hon. James Duke Cameron of the Arizona Supreme Court. Mr. Goldstein is a certified specialist in injury and wrongful death litigation by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. He earned his B.S.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Missouri. Mr. Goldstein is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, The Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and Super Lawyers of Arizona. KEITH L. HENDRICKS is a named-director in the law firm of Moyes, Sellers & Hendricks. Prior to joining his current firm, Mr. Hendricks was a director at Fennemore Craig. He is certified by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in real estate law. He has concentrated his practice in the areas of civil trial practice, real estate litigation and commercial litigation. Mr. Hendricks has served as a Maricopa County Superior Court judge pro tempore. He is a member of the Committee on Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Arizona.
