THOMAS J. GRIGGS is an attorney with The Law Firm of M. Paul Fischer, P.C., where he practices in the area of complex family law matters. Mr. Griggs is a certified specialist in family law by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Griggs has been designated as a Southwest Super Lawyer for Family Law in Arizona for 2008 and 2009, and is a frequent lecturer on family and divorce issues. Mr. Griggs earned his B.A. degree from Simpson College and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. DAVID N. HOROWITZ is an attorney at the Phoenix law firm of Collins, May, Potenza, Baran & Gillespie, P.C., where he practices in the areas of family law, divorce and annulment, mediation, legal separation, prenuptial agreements, child custody and visitation, child support collection and modification, spousal maintenance and modification, domestic partnerships, grandparent rights, guardianship proceedings, enforcement proceedings, out-of-state relocation issues, alternative dispute resolution and collaborative divorce. Mr. Horowitz is a member of the Arizona Association of Family and Conciliation courts and Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Arizona. He is the past president of the Arizona Family Support Council and has served on the Arizona Supreme Court's Child Support Committee Guidelines Workgroup. Mr. Horowitz holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and has been teaching economics and legal studies at Phoenix College since 1990. He is the recipient of the 2005-2006 State Bar of Arizona CLE Award. Mr. Horowitz is licensed to practice in all Arizona courts, all federal courts situated in the District of Arizona and the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree, with honors and highest distinction, and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona College of Law. SUSAN PINTEL is the principal of the Pintel Law Firm PLLC in Scottsdale. She practices in the areas of family law, real estate law and business law. Ms. Pintel is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Arizona. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, at Claremont McKenna College and her J.D. degree at the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. TERESA S. THAYER is a founding partner of the Phoenix law firm of Thayer & Thayer, P.C., where she practices in the area of family law. She has served as a judge pro tem on the Arizona Court of Appeals and has taught at CLE seminars on domestic relations and ethics sponsored by the State Bar of Arizona and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Thayer currently serves on the Board of Visitors of the University of Arizona College of Law, is a member of the State Bar of Arizona (former member, Ethics Section, Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct) and the State Bar of California. She earned her B.S. degree from Arizona State University and her J.D. degree from the University of Arizona College of Law. CLAUDIA D. WORK is an attorney with the Phoenix firm of Campbell & Mahoney, Chartered, where her practice focuses primarily on civil litigation and all aspects of family law, including protecting and enforcing the rights of unmarried opposite and same sex couples and their children at all stages of their relationships. Ms. Work serves on the National Family Law Advisory Council for the National Center for Lesbian Rights. She also is the Chair of the Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity of the State Bar of Arizona Ethics Committee. Ms. Work is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Arizona, and is admitted to practice in the State of Arizona and the 9th Federal District Court.
