CALE BLOCK is an attorney at Niswanger Law Firm PLC, where his primary areas of practice are business litigation, with an emphasis on collection and creditor's rights, bankruptcy, real estate, and construction. He also has experience in matters relating to intellectual property, and is a licensed mediator. Mr. Block is a member of the American and Arkansas bar associations, and the Young Lawyers' Division of both organizations. He earned his B.S. degree in journalism, with a minor in English, from Arkansas State University, where he graduated summa cum laude with University Honors, and was named President's Scholar of the College of Communications. He received his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. REID MILLER is a solo practitioner in Arkansas, where he represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation in federal and state court. His practice focuses on commercial litigation disputes including unfair business practices, false advertising suits, and patent and copyright litigation. In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Miller handles personal injury cases involving general negligence and wrongful death actions in state and federal courts in Arkansas and Texas. He is admitted to practice in all courts in the states of Texas and Arkansas, the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the Eastern District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Miller is a graduate of the honors college at Baylor University and received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. J.G. "GERRY" SCHULZE is a partner with the Little Rock law firm of Baker Schulze & Murphy, PLLC, where he practices in the areas of appellate law, plaintiffs' personal injury litigation, and civil and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Schulze also is a member of SCRIBES, which is an organization for legal writers. He was the institute chair for the Arkansas Bar Association Appellate Advocacy Institute in 1996 and 1997. Mr. Schulze earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University and his J.D. degree, with high honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. MICHELE THOMAS serves as an assistant professor of law librarianship and catalog and reference librarian at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law Library. She is an active member of the Ohio bar, the American Association of Law Libraries, the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries, and the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries. Ms. Thomas earned her J.D. degree from the University of Dayton School of Law, her M.A. degree from The Ohio State University, and her M.L.I.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh. As catalog and reference librarian, she creates and builds access to the law library collection for all library patrons and is the law library liaison to the UALR Law Review. She is also the associate editor of Technical Services Law Librarian, a publication of the Technical Services Special Interest Section and the Online Bibliographic Services Special Interest Section of the American Association of Law Libraries.
