JIM JACKSON is a trial attorney with Patton Roberts, PLLC, where he practices in the areas of aviation litigation, personal injury, and litigation. He was recently appointed by the governor of Arkansas to serve as a Special Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court. Mr. Jackson is frequently called upon to speak to attorneys on issues such as complex litigation, effectively using demonstrative exhibits at trial, and liability insurance coverage. He earned his B.A. degree from Hendrix College and his J.D. degree from the University of Arkansas Law School in Little Rock. Mr. Jackson's peers selected him as a Super Lawyer in the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions of Law & Politics for the Mid-South Region. He was elected by his peers to serve as a member of the Arkansas Bar Association's House of Delegates. Fellow trial attorneys elected him to the Board of Governors for ATLA. He was also elected president of the Young Lawyers' Division of ATLA. Mr. Jackson is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. BRIAN W. RAY is a partner at the law firm of Stewart & Ray, PLLC, where his areas of practice include civil litigation in personal injury, medical negligence, business and commercial litigation, insurance, employment law, and appeals. Mr. Ray also practices in criminal defense for all offenses. He is a member of the American and Arkansas bar associations, American Trial Lawyers Association, and Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Ray earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Henderson State University and J.D. degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. SHANE STRABALA is an attorney with Munson, Rowlett, Moore & Boone, PA, where he is involved in all areas of the firm's insurance defense practice. In addition, Mr. Strabala works in the areas of employment law and general corporate litigation. He is currently a member of the American, Arkansas, and Pulaski County bar associations, as well as Defense Research Institute. Mr. Strabala earned his J.D. degree, with high honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law, where he was a member of the National Trial Team and the UALR Law Review. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. TODD WOOTEN is a partner with the Laser Law Firm, P.A. In more than 130 jury trials over 16 years, Mr. Wooten has represented major companies, small businesses and individuals in cases with claims for personal injury; product liability; professional liability; insurance defense and insurance coverage (breach of contract, regulatory and bad faith); business litigation, including business torts, complex commercial litigation, premises liability, trucking and transportation defense; and employment practice litigation. He has appeared in numerous mediations and arbitrations. Mr. Wooten earned his J.D. degree from the University of Arkansas and his LL.M. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
