GLENN E. BORKOWSKI is of counsel in the Little Rock law firm of Kutak Rock LLP, where his practice focuses primarily in the areas of real estate, general business transactions and mergers and acquisitions, representing both buyers and sellers of manufacturing, retail, land development and service businesses. He began his professional career with the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. Mr. Borkowski has applied his expertise in tax matters to the legal and business issues in transactions for the purpose of evaluating and, to the extent possible, minimizing the tax consequences of a given transaction. He has structured business transactions as tax-free corporate reorganizations or like-kind exchanges as a means of minimizing the current tax impact to his clients. Mr. Borkowski has served as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Bowen School of Law; his coursework was in the area of real estate finance. He received his B.A. degree from Tulane University, his J.D. degree from Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., and his LL.M. degree in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Borkowski is a member of the Pulaski County Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association (member, Taxation Section), The District of Columbia Bar, the American Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. ANGELA G. HENRY is in-house counsel for WACO Title Company. Ms. Henry's areas of practice include real estate and title insurance. Prior to joining WACO Title Company, she was in private practice in Springdale, Arkansas, where her practice included corporate, estate planning and real estate matters. Before moving to Arkansas, Ms. Henry practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she worked in the title insurance division of a law firm. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa and her J.D. degree from Oklahoma City University. Ms. Henry is a member of the Real Estate sections of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Since joining WACO Title Company, Ms. Henry has presented seminars on real property and title insurance throughout Northwest Arkansas to banks, real estate professionals and attorneys. WALTER G. WRIGHT is a member of the Little Rock, Arkansas, law firm of Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C., where his practice addresses a variety of environmental and energy issues. Mr. Wright also has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law since 1986. He is a former assistant general counsel of the Petroleum Marketers Association of America in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, Mr. Wright served on the minority staff of the Subcommittee on Health and the Environment in the United States House of Representatives. He received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Arkansas and his LL.M. degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Mr. Wright has written articles addressing air and water pollution control, storage tanks, real property development, mold and environmental audits.
