CHARLES R. DRIGGARS is a shareholder in the law firm of Sirote & Permutt PC, where he concentrates his practice in civil litigation, environmental litigation and appellate advocacy. Mr. Driggars represents businesses in state and federal court, handling breach of contract, fraud, trade-secret and non-compete claims. He represents businesses seeking to comply with environmental laws, defending them in court and agency hearings. Mr. Driggars regularly negotiates with ADEM, EPA and other agencies. He handles appeals before all state appellate courts and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. DRIVER is a shareholder with Carr Allison in the Birmingham, Alabama office. In addition to his practice in employment, workers' compensation and general liability litigation, he is the primary firm counsel for all appellate litigation. Mr. Driver has represented clients in more than 200 appeals to the Alabama Supreme Court, the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. The practice involves appeals of cases tried by Carr Allison attorneys, but also includes numerous appeals on behalf of amicus curiae parties having interest in other pending appellate litigation and appeals for parties that may have engaged other firms as trial counsel. These appeals have involved many types of cases, including bad faith/outrage, contract claims, fraud, insurance coverage, labor & employment, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation.
