THOMAS COLEMAN JR. is a partner in the Birmingham law firm of Smith, Spires & Peddy, P.C., where he practices in the areas of personal injury, commercial vehicular accidents, products liability, construction accidents, bad faith and fraud. Mr. Coleman has lectured previously in the area of ethics, adjusting motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, personal injury claims and truck accident litigation seminars. ERIK HENINGER is a partner in the law firm Heninger Garrison Davis LLC, where his areas of practice include automotive, medical malpractice, bad faith and intellectual property. He earned his B.A. degree from Birmingham Southern College and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Alabama State Bar, The Mississippi Bar, the Association of Justice and the Birmingham Bar Association. JOHN W. JOHNSON II is a member of the litigation section at Christian & Small LLP. A large part of his practice focuses on insurance coverage disputes and analysis. He represents insurers involved in contract and contract-related claims and torts, including fraud, bad faith, and claims for extra contractual damages. Mr. Johnson also represents and advises insurers on allocation of risk disputes, obligations to additional insureds, indemnity agreements between insureds, and rights and duties among primary and excess carriers. Mr. Johnson also regularly defends professional malpractice claims, personal injury cases and catastrophic personal injury and death claims brought under Alabama's liquor liability laws. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar 2008 Pilot Mentoring Program. He is admitted to practice in Alabama and Mississippi. REA is a sole practitioner in Birmingham, Alabama, where he practices in the areas of products liability law, medical malpractice, employment litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
