STEVEN M. BROM is the managing member of The Brom Law Firm, LLC, in Birmingham where he practices in the areas of business law and general civil litigation and appeals in all state and federal courts with emphasis on business litigation. Mr. Brom is admitted to the Alabama State Bar; U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama; U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his A.B. degree in history from the University of Georgia and his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. Mr. Brom is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum-Class 6, and the Inns of Court. He currently serves the Birmingham Bar Association on the Future Leaders Forum and as fundraising chairman for the Public Service Committee. Mr. Brom serves the Alabama State Bar as a member of the Judicial Liaison, Unauthorized Practice of Law and Disciplinary committees. Mr. Brom previously served as a member of the Board of Editors for The Alabama Lawyer and has conducted seminars on topics including corporate/business law, construction law, litigation, appeals, liens, pretrial discovery, motion practice, depositions, arbitration, and mediation.
