C. ELLIS BRAZEAL III is a partner in the law firm of Walston Wells & Birchall, LLP, where he concentrates on bankruptcy, construction litigation and commercial litigation. Mr. Brazeal has previously lectured on dischargeability of environmental obligations and on various construction issues, commercial lending practices, lender liability and bankruptcy issues. He teaches construction issues at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, College of Engineering. Mr. Brazeal received a B.S.A.E. degree, summa cum laude, and a M.S.E. degree, with honors, from the University of Alabama and a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar (member, Commercial Litigation Section). WILLIAM COX is a partner in the firm of Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC. He devotes the majority of his time to environmental and toxic tort litigation, and environmental compliance and enforcement matters. Mr. Cox is one of the principal drafters of the Alabama Water Resources Management Act and speaks frequently at industry and legal seminars regarding environmental and natural resources issues. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association (Environmental Law Section). Mr. Cox earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. CHARLES R. DRIGGARS is a shareholder in the law firm of Sirote & Permutt PC, where he concentrates his practice in civil litigation, environmental litigation and appellate advocacy. Mr. Driggars represents businesses in state and federal court, handling breach of contract, fraud, trade-secret and non-compete claims. He represents businesses seeking to comply with environmental laws, defending them in court and agency hearings. Mr. Driggars regularly negotiates with ADEM, EPA and other agencies. He handles appeals before all state appellate courts and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Driggars is admitted to practice for the U.S. District Court, Northern, Middle and Southern districts of Alabama, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham and American (member, Appellate Law Section) bar associations and the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce (member, Environmental Economics Committee). Mr. Driggars earned his B.S. degree from Troy State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. REBECCA WRIGHT PRITCHETT is the owner of Pritchett Law Firm LLC, where her practice focuses on Brownfields transactions, environmental permit negotiations, administrative appeals, administrative enforcement actions, water and wastewater, environmental litigation, oil and gas law, RCRA and CERCLE cleanups, legislative drafting, and various other aspects of environmental and natural resources law. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from the University of Southern Mississippi and J.D. degree along with a certificate of completion in environmental and natural resources law from the University of Oregon School of Law. Ms. Pritchett is a member of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section Executive Committee of the Alabama State Bar, and is a member of the Birmingham and American (member, Section of Environment, Energy and Resources; Special Committee on Environmental Disclosures; Nanotechnology Work Group; Law Practice Management Section; General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Section; member and vice chair of membership, Environmental Transactions & Brownfields Committee) bar associations.
