WILLIAM COX is a partner in the firm of Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC. He devotes the majority of his time to environmental and toxic tort litigation, and environmental compliance and enforcement matters. Mr. Cox is one of the principal drafters of the Alabama Water Resources Management Act and speaks frequently at industry and legal seminars regarding environmental and natural resources issues. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association (Environmental Law Section). Mr. Cox earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
