December 7 - Mobile RICK A. LA TRACE is a partner with Johnstone, Adams, Bailey, Gordon & Harris, L.L.C. Mr. La Trace is licensed to practice law in the states of Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the foreclosure process and regularly represents creditors in foreclosure matters in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. Mr. La Trace graduated, summa cum laude, with two bachelor's degrees from St. Louis University and he earned his J.D. degree, with honors, from Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law. BRUCE McGOWIN is an attorney at the law firm of Hand Arendall LLC, and has extensive experience in the fields of real estate, commercial finance and environmental law. ROBERT J. RICCIO is an associate in Hand Arendall's business section. ROSELIUS practices in Hand Arendall's business section. She received her J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2006, and received her B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama in 2001. Ms. Roselius is certified by the Green Building Certification Institute as a LEED Green Associate. She is licensed to practice in both Alabama and New York. Prior to joining Hand Arendall, she practiced for a firm in New York. Ms. Roselius has represented owners, developers, lenders, and other participants in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase, sale, financing, development and leasing of all types of commercial properties. December 8 - Birmingham DONALD E. BLANKENSHIP is a sole practitioner in Birmingham, where he practices extensively in the areas of real estate and land use law. He previously was a city planner and the zoning administrator for the city of Birmingham. Mr. Blankenship has spoken at numerous seminars on land use and real estate topics. FARLEY is a partner with the Birmingham law firm of Burr & Forman LLP, where he practices in the areas of environmental law and administrative law. Mr. Farley counsels and represents clients on a wide variety of environmental permitting, compliance and regulatory enforcement matters, and on environmental due diligence aspects of real estate and brownfield transactions.
