NELL K. WAGNER is a paralegal in the Raleigh law firm of Knott, Berger & Miller, LLP, where she conducts medical research; legal and factual research; investigations; and client interviews. Ms. Wagner also prepares pleadings, memoranda and briefs; witness lists and exhibits; trial notebooks; demand and settlement documents; and deposition schedules and summaries. She handles all aspects of the case from initial client contact to trial preparation and participation. Ms. Wagner coordinates and manages document production; locates and interviews witnesses and experts; organizes pleadings and trial exhibits; assists lawyers at trial; gathers and reviews medical records; and maintains general client contact. She earned her B.S. degree from North Carolina State University, and earned a paralegal certificate from Meredith College. Ms. Wagner is an adjunct professor at Meredith College where she teaches law office management. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association Paralegal Division.
