MELISSA K. WARNER is a partner with Axley Brynelson, LLP. As a member of the firm's business practice group, she concentrates on issues relating to tax law and estate planning and administration. Ms. Warner also handles a variety of general business issues, such as business assets sales and purchases, and business start up matters. She advises on tax implications of proposed business transactions, as well as personal tax planning. Ms. Warner prepares estate plans for individuals, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. She Organizes and obtains tax-exempt status for non-profit corporations. Ms. Warner is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. She was named a 2010 Rising Star in Business/Corporate Law by Wisconsin Super Lawyers. Ms. Warner earned her B.A. degree from Cornell College, her Masters of Law from the University of Denver and her J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
