GARY A. DEBELE is a shareholder and president of the 13-attorney law firm of Walling, Berg & Debele, P.A. Mr. Debele is licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College and of the University of Minnesota Law School. Mr. Debele devotes his practice primarily to family law, juvenile law, and adoption, with significant expertise in third party custody, complex adoption and assisted reproduction matters, the interplay of juvenile and family court, the drafting of cohabitation, prenuptial, and post-nuptial agreements, and family and juvenile law issues in tribal courts. With an extensive appellate practice, he has been involved in 10 cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court and 29 cases before the Minnesota Court of Appeals, with several noted decisions in the areas of third party custody, adoption, and custody relocation. Along with another attorney, Mr. Debele helped draft the first version of Minnesota's Birth Father's Adoption Registry statute. He served as a member of the Minnesota Supreme Court's Juvenile Protection Rules Committee from 2002 to 2006, which included the drafting of the Rules of Adoption Procedure for the state of Minnesota. Mr. Debele has been repeatedly designated as a Super Lawyer, a Top 100 Lawyer and a Top 40 Family Law Attorney by Law and Politics. In 2007 and 2009 he was named one of the Top 10 attorneys in the state of Minnesota by that same publication. In 2010 Mr. Debele was named an Attorney of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer. He also is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (AAAA) and the Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Debele is a charter member of the American Academy of Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAARTA). He was a founder and is now the president of the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Mr. Debele earned his Master of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, his advisor was noted constitutional law scholar Paul L. Murphy, and the title of his master's thesis was "The Origins and Early Years of American Juvenile Courts: the Impact of Changes in American Domestic Relations Law and Criminal Procedure from 1880 to 1920." JONATHAN FOGEL is owner of Fogel Law Offices, P.A. in Minneapolis, where his areas of practice include divorce, family law, custody, paternity, child support, maintenance and post decree modifications. He is the author of the book Preparing for Divorce While Happily Married: Tips From a Divorce Lawyer, 2006 and "Protecting Your Children During a Divorce," Minnesota Parent Magazine. Mr. Fogel is the host of the radio show Family Affairs on FM107 and is a frequent speaker on all issues related to divorce. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Fogel is a member of the Hennepin County (chair, Family Law Section), Minnesota State and American bar associations. MARC A. JOHANNSEN is a member of the law firm of Lommen, Abdo, Cole, King & Stageberg, P.A., in Minneapolis, where he practices in family law, divorce, marital property law, separation agreements, child custody, municipal law and civil litigation. Mr. Johannsen earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Carroll College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State (member, Diversity Issues committee, Family Law Section) and American bar associations, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the city council of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. MAUREEN D. LORD MOHR is an attorney with the Minneapolis law firm of Marilyn J. Michales & Associates, P.A. She was selected as a Minnesota Rising Star for 2011. Ms. Lord Mohr earned her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin where she was a member of the Dean's List. She earned her J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law where she was a member of the Dean's List and a recipient of the Law School Public Service Award. Ms. Lord Mohr is a member of the Douglas K. Amdahl Inn of Court, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association (Family Law, Real Property Law, Business Law and Computer Law sections). LINDA K. WRAY practices family law and has had her own firm since 1995. She is devoted to preserving the dignity and values of her clients while effectively representing them. Ms. Wray encourages the use of ADR where appropriate, and is an experienced collaborative attorney, mediator and litigator. She was the 2006 president of the Collaborative Law Institute and served four years on its Board of Directors. Ms. Wray was actively involved in the process for promulgating state court rules regarding Collaborative Law, was involved in the drafting of the Uniform Collaborative Law Act and has led the effort to enact more extensive laws regarding Collaborative Law in Minnesota. She is presently serving on the Board of Directors for the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and is co-chairing the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section Collaborative Law Committee. Ms. Wray has been a leader in the development of research regarding Collaborative Law. She has been named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list every year since 2003. GARRICK G. ZIELINSKI is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), a Certified Divorce Specialist (CDS) and president of Divorce Financial Solutions, LLC in Milwaukee. Mr. Zielinski has been in the financial services industry since 1982. Prior to founding Divorce Financial Solutions, LLC he was CEO and founder of the WFA Group of Companies; one of Wisconsin and the Midwest's largest fee-only financial wealth advisory firms with more than $150 million under management. The WFA Group of Companies included subsidiaries in forensic economics, business tax and accounting, fee-only financial planning, estate planning, divorce planning, income taxes and risk analysis. Divorce Financial Solutions, LLC is a unique firm in that the business venture was created for the sole purpose of resolving the financial issues and aspects of divorce. Mr. Zielinski has testified as an expert witness in many court cases relating to the financial aspects of divorce. He has been instrumental in the draft of more than 5000 qualified domestic relations orders (QDRO) and 8000 retirement plan valuations covering a broad spectrum of issues related to valuation and QDROs. Mr. Zielinski is the author of numerous articles published in newspapers, magazines and family law journals related to the financial aspects of divorce. He has spoken to the State Bar of Wisconsin, Minnesota State Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and Iowa State Bar Association on presentations relating to financial issues incident to divorce for continuing legal education credits.
