JAMES A. McKOWEN is a member of the Charleston law firm of James F. Humphreys & Associates, L.C., where he practices in asbestos law, personal injury and appellate litigation. Mr. McKowen earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University. He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the West Virginia Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. Mr. McKowen has taught legal research for paralegals at the University of Charleston.
