BARBARA A. CAVICCHIA is a paralegal with Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C., where her main areas of practice are business and finance, real estate, and estate planning and probate administration. Ms. Cavicchia's main focus' are bond closings, medical malpractice cases, nonprofit formation & 501(c)3 operations, organization of new corporate entities, securities compliance, regulatory and licensing requirements, profit/loss analysis, information technology (IT) collaboration, alternative dispute resolution, records management, and contingency planning. She also serves as the vice president and secretary of Capes Sokol Registered Agent, Inc., which this subsidiary of Capes Sokol provides registered agent services for entities in Missouri. Ms. Cavicchia serves on the Institute for Paralegal Education Board and is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), the St. Louis Paralegal Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL). She is active in a number of community organizations including the Truman State University Alumni Association. She earned the Superior Performance Award, from the A.G. Edwards Operations Certification Program. Ms. Cavicchia earned her B.A. degree from Missouri State University and her MBA degree from Fontbonne University.
