CARLA V. COLLIER received her Bachelor of Science at the University of North Texas specializing in criminal justice, in Denton Texas. She also received her paralegal training at Southeastern Paralegal Institute ABA approved, in Dallas Texas. Ms. Collier has more than 13 years' experience in the legal field. She currently is a paralegal at STMicroelectronics, Inc., in Coppell Texas specializing in transactional, corporate, litigation and employment matters. Her responsibilities include drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, including agreements and contracts; negotiating agreements on behalf of the company; drafting corporate documents such as resolutions and company board minutes; managing company corporate governance, including minute books; monitoring company compliance and filing of corporate documents with Secretary of State; filing corporate annual reports and state licenses; she is responsible for company stocks and company IP and patent litigation matters; and she is responsible for various employee matters. Ms. Collier also has worked in asbestos, personal injury, medical malpractice and family matters. She is a member of the Texas State Bar Paralegal Division and Metroplex Association of Corporate Paralegals.
