MICHAEL T. ETMUND is an attorney with the Minneapolis law firm of Moss & Barnett, A Professional Association, where he practices in the areas of creditor's remedies, collections, breach of contract and in the defense of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) claims. Mr. Etmund is a zealous advocate of creditors' remedies and works hard to achieve first-rate results for his clients. He is continually recognized for his efficient methods and his ability to obtain high recovery rates, even in potentially volatile situations. Mr. Etmund recently prevailed in an important case involving personal liability for deductibles stemming from a legal malpractice insurance policy claim. He regularly represents creditors, including corporations and other general business entities, in contract and collection matters. Mr. Etmund is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association. In addition, he is a member of the ACA International Member's Attorney Program (MAP). Mr. Etmund is qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Marist College, and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
